I'm a natural redhead that is slowly going gray. I used to hate my red hair, but now I want to keep it as long as possible. I have long natural curly hair and amber colored eyes. I got married at the age of 18 and will celebrate my 30th anniversary in April of 2008. I like to walk at least 4-5 days a week. On a typical day, I walk 3-4 miles, usually getting in at least 15-20 miles of walking a week. Walking helps to clear my mind and maintain my weight. I'm interested in health related topics, especially hypothyroidism. I try to help others with this conditions whenever I can. Far too many doctors don't know how to treat the condition so that the person is symptom free. I found the old method using natural thyroid hormones that has been around for 100+ years is the best method of treatment. I am on Armour thyroid for my underactive thyroid and I'd never go back to the synthetic medications. What I found weird about hypothyroidism, is that redheads are more prone to developing the condition. That's one downside of being a redhead, so if you experience symptoms like weight gain, fatigue, hairloss, depression, constipation, and muscle and joint aches....get your thyroid tested. I have 1 grown married daughter and 1 grandson who live about 90 minutes away. I love old cars, as well as some new cars. My current old car is a 1971 Chevelle Malibu, which we have owned since 1984. It used to be lime green, but now its red. Some day I hope to own a 1968 Dodge Charger. In 2004, I got my grandmothers car when she passed on in 2004....a 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. My grandmother loved this car, probably because most people were shocked an elderly women was driving it. She'd kill me for saying elderly, but how else do you describe a women in her 90's. Some day I'd like to have it repainted, so it looks like new again. I'm on the shy side in person, but once I get to know people I am far from shy. I am the person who always listens without judging....always trying to help. Photos - Believe it or not the photo of my daughter was taken when she was 25. She is 29 now and still looks very young. The dragonfly is a painting she did for me. She is a freelance artist. I'll eventually put a recent photo of myself up when I actually feel OK about a photo. I hate having my photo taken, which results in no decent photos.

honest and caring people,

rude people, spam, liars, telemarketers, inconsiderate people,

walking, flea markets, classic cars, bird watching, dragonflies, helping others with hypothyroidism

november 27th, at 8 a.m. I have to be there at 6.  I'll probably be there for 3 days, 2 nights, as long as nothing goes wrong.

I have tried the color remover.  One time I tried to dye my hair a dark brown color and it turned kinda purple, so I used it and it came out a strawberry blonde color, it did remove a little of my original hair color, but I didn't mind.

well if it doesn't blend well you could alwaysuse some hair color remover to take it out.  it's made by loreal.

yes my hair is naturally curly, but I perm it to keep it under control, other wise the curls go every which way and frizz out.  I think I am going to grow it long again, I like it better short, but I think I look better with it long. I also highlight it, because right at the top of my temple on the right side I have a huge strip of greying hair, Like Bonnie Raitt.  It hides it for now, lol

Thanks so much for the add! I've been meaning to tell you that your "you can never have enough socks and underwear" comment was SO true!

And I love your posts in the Animal Lovers group. Thanks so much for the sympathy about my Thisbe. I still kind of can't believe she's gone, ya know?

Anyway! I hope you have a great day, and I'll talk to you soon!

I think that I could easily pass for 16 also. In fact the other day I was at the nursing home visiting my husbands grandmother and the nurse was talking to me and I told her that I have a 10 year old she is was like do you mind be asking how old you are because I didnt think you looked old enough to have any kids! I was like yep I do! 3 of them and a step son!

My mother is exactly your age and she says the same thing about being glad that she had us kids young! I also had my kids pretty young so I am done with the chasing a toddler around! Now I am getting into the hardest years. I have a couple of preteens. They are so hard sometimes, because they arent into kid things, and too young for some of the other things. I am having a hard time trying to decide what to get them for christmas! Oh did I say that word? I already started buying things for it though. Have to start early.

It is so blasted cold here today. 34 and windy as crap. I am going to put my coveralls on when I head back out to the field.

I took the kids trick or treating and they got alot of nice things, they even got cans of pop and chips and things like that. I like when they get pretzels and raisins and things like that so they arent getting so much junk, but ya know ya gotta have a little of that junk sometimes too.

Well I better be off back to work. Nice hearing from you and thanks for the compliments on my background.
