The sexiest night look is wavy locks and smokey eyes. I made a pretty lame tutorial on how to achieve this look. As being a redhead I've found that a softer than usual smokey eye is much more flattering in my opinion. That's what this tutorial shows...anyways...
The first step is the HAIR!
1. Get some big a$$ hair curlers and starting at the top roll 3 inch sections of hair down. You can either roll with a hot iron and pin each curl down or use rollers. My iron is broken so I am using hair curlers.
Nextspray your curls with some hair spray.
Blowdry your curls for about 3-5 minutes.
Now go do something else for 15-30 minutes depending on how thick your hair is and how wavy you want it! For the next 15 minutes I acted like the people in the ipod commercials!
Nowthat you've gotten your exercise it's time to let your hair down!
Butthat's not it! Get a small handful of whipped cream and indulge! Just kidding! Grab some mousse and scrunch through hair.
BLOW DRY THAT SUCKA!
Tease with your hair a bit, flip it around some, then flip back up and look at yourself!
OK now that we've gotten the hair done let's do some makeup!
First you need to have all your face stuff done like foundation and eyebrows blah blah blah...it's winter and my skin doesn't like a ton of face makeup so I usually just put foundation underneath my eyes to brighten them and fill in my eyebrows because they are lighter than my hair shade.
So yea after all that apply a light base color all over lid up to the brow.
Nextyou need to get a very dark gray or black shadow and put it on up to the brow bone. It should look sloppy like this!
Nowtake silver shadow and layer it on top of that!
Now some golden bronze color stuff!
Nowdepending on how dark you want your smokey eye next layer either some more silver or some black on the lid and blend up towards the brow bone.
applyblack eyeliner all around eye and smudge around. If you want a softer look layer the bronze brown shadow as a liner on top of the bottom black liner and smudge.
Now just add mascara and you're done! Or you can put some liquid liner on the upper lash line to make it ultra killer! I used liquid in mine so here ya go the finished night time look!
