They done taught us in Anthro that sexuality is elastic. America is one of the few countries that tries to striate it so stringently. I think I spelled both those words wrong.
There are African tribes wherein, if a man "feels" like he's really a woman, then he is accepted as such.
And many countries (sorry I don't have concrete examples...the Anthro book is waaaaaay down in the basement) accept that sexuality changes--is elastic all along the scale from homosexual to hetero.
I think many people have bi tendencies, too.
I've kissed a girl. It was nice. And it got us backstage to Nickelback and Default a couple of years back.
I also really and truly subscribe to the idea that those who protest too much are the ones with the strongest tendencies, of which they are afraid.
You know those guys: I'm not GAY!!! Like it's the worst thing in the world, when it's only, basically, one more thing in the world. Always turns me right of a guy, when he's homophobic. Not because he has tendencies (tend, away, really) but because he has closed down and become a bigot and intolerant, and also that he doesn't know himself.
Hm. Yes, well.
I'm a hag from way back.
