Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade Queen History
Posted On 02/23/2008 10:48:33 by steve

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in high style in Chicago. They dye the Chicago River green and have a fantastic parade, for which they elect a queen. This year's queen is quite the redheaded cutie, and definitely needs to know about us. I'll consider it my personal mission to inform her.

I love this page on their website showing queen contests from years past.

1963 the skirts are below the knee.

1968 the skirts are at the knee.

1971 the skirts are above the knee.

1972 the skirts are way above the knee.

1991? Wha?

Cool to see how fashion & sexual mores progress through time.

I agree, what the hell is with 91? The dude/chicka who though of putting shoulder pads in women's clothing? Had to be gay.
