| MUSIC |
From Dead Can Dance to Dimmu Borgir. All kinds,
really.
|
| BOOKS |
Uhm... arts student. My life revolves around
books.
Favourite writers: Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman. I
also started to read the Dresden series... Wish I
had more time to read.
|
| MOVIES |
Love them. Preferably not American ones, tho. They
are usually too predictable and a bit too American
for my tastes. (Of course, I have been surprised a
few times before, but alas, I need more proof
before I start trusting American movies again.)
I also like many Alan Rickman movies. (And I
really don't care if those movies are American
ones or not.)

| ABOUT ME |
• I have issues, but I hardly if ever bite.
Also, I'm usually described as strange.
• I dislike most religions (That's what you get
if you study theology for a few years.), I dislike
most of the male idols of today's women (Because
they look too girly or just plain artificial.),
and my favourite pastime when I'm with friends is
being in the middle of a heated discussion about
whatever comes up. (We all love religional
issues.)
• I tend to spend my time being very creative
with whatever is at hand like drawing, repairing
stuff, painting vases... I also make silly looking
plush toys when I have the patience to finish
them. (I mostly don’t, because I always have
better things to do.)
• I prefer to be treated as an equal. I don’t
care about anyone’s religion (as long as they
don’t try to shove it in my face), gender,
sexual orientation (same again with not shoving it
in my face since I’m not doing that either) or
anything else as long as I’m not treated as
someone who can’t possibly have enough brains to
understand common things… or someone who’s
fainting all the time (like women are supposed to
do). I have a handful of gay friends. They are of
course hot, successful and well-groomed.
• Also, if any male tries to open a door for me
I’ll stare at him like he grew another head and
will feel rather uncomfortable. I’m not really a
feminist, I’m just human. I’m not supporting
rabid females trying to take over the world just
as much as I’m not going to support rabid males
either. I just prefer to be… well, normal. So
let’s face it, being the perfect gentleman or
the perfect macho won’t win brownie points from
me. (Although macho guys might earn themselves a
punch or two if they piss me off.)
• Oh… I know how to belly dance... which is
totally unrelated, but hey, people like that. :)

| TURN ON'S |
Real men. (No, not muscles. Strong will. The
muscle look gets really silly if you start crying
over Bambi's mother.)
No romance whatsoever. (I hate mushiness as much
as I hate stupidity.)
Sarcasm, intelligence, backbone, attitude,
thinking outside the box. (Also hooked noses -
don't ask.)
Btw, my aesthetics sense is a few centuries
behind. Today's idols don't appeal to me much.
|
| TURN OFF'S |
First and foremost: being expected to be nice.
Where is it written I have to be all smiles and
sunshine? If someone wants a cute, blushing, sweet
little maiden they can damn well count me out.
Second: weak men. I can't stand men who need to be
coddled and treated as weak puppies. Same goes for
clingy ones.
Third and... yeah, the others: idiots, too much
muscle, too much religion, pretty boys, macho
guys, narrow-minded people, those who judge others
based on appearance and last but not least too
much hassle.
Last but not least: wiccans. They turn me way off.
(Although wiccans who can fly on brooms,
occassionally get burned at stakes, know herbs by
heart, get poked by needles but do not bleed and
can withstand torture without crying out are
excused.)
Oh... and... perverted old men. They follow me
around. I dunno why. It's just so off-putting
being followed by salivating old grandpas.
