Wow, 6 hrs.! It is nice to have someone else do the job for you!
Mine ranged frm "dishwater blonde" as a tyke, then brown, then browner, then darker, then more grey, then McDude convinced me that blonde was the way to go. Eventually it will be an angelic white....
aww well I think you look gorgeous with the blonde. I think it's so interesting on how hair changes color as we get older. I was born with platinum white blonde hair and then it gradually got darker. One of the ladies I work with her daughter as a baby started off with black hair and it gradually got lighter on her. She is now a natural platinum blonde girl. I hope you have a wonderful day mcmom you are soooooo sweet
Thanks, RetroGal! Yours is awfully pretty, too. I always wanted to look like Audrey! and have finally given up. I am just me.
Awww thank you. I think it's every woman's fantasy to look like Audrey. Mcmom you are gorgeous and if Audrey were still alive she would be jealous
Retrogal, you're awfully sweet! Thank you. Is your hair truly a beautiful auburn red?
No it's brown sad to say. I just love red hair so much that I get it professionally done. It takes about six hours without highlights. The stuff we do for beauty. So the background is your front garden. Wow that is beautiful!
I think Steve is in his 30's like me right? Not sure though, LOL! I looked at his family pics and saw you and the family... McDude and I have been exchanging family boating stories. My dad "papa" is big on the boating scene United States Power Squadron at National level, but I forget his title ;-) He's "daddy" to me... And we have so many wonderful boating memories together. My sis and bro are 8 years younger than me (they were born back to back, trying for a boy there were... Sis is a freckly, blondy and bro-bro is a Red).
My children are Mason 7 and Kaelyn aka KK, is 3 both going on their 30s. LOL! Not a red in the lot and don't want to be preggers again. Maybe I can find a redhead to adopt?! LOL!
I wish I could go to NYC... my husband would freak out if I left him alone with our brood. :-)
Love McDoll she's just the such a kind and interesting woman. I'm enjoying her blogs. I would be interested in reading some you write. I bet you have great stories to tell... Sounds like your life is fun.
Hi Cassestes! Thanks for the enthusiastic welcome! Yes, I'm the mysterious McMom! Looks like you and Mdoll are great pals. How old are your children? Has Steve said how old he is? There is 10+ yrs. difference between him and youngest...S2budd. And my Suzy-Q thrown in-between.
Get cooking, I've just finish making what seems like a million salmon fishcakes. wished I'd never started!
Enjoy your girl's day in.
I'll have some of your snow in exchange for our gale force winds and torrential rain- it's been going on for weeks and we are all thoroughly depressed by it. I'd rather be cold than wet!!!
Enjoy the family tomorrow. it will be Mother's Day here and I've refused to cook tomorrow!
Love the colours in your new project. Hubby was really impressed when I showed him the picture of the loom! "Sea foam" was the colour I wore at my son's wedding and was also the colour of my own bridesmaids' dresses. It's my favourite Started on new sweater, it's ivory this time and this time I have a good feeling about it, especially as it's much smaller!!!
Also made 2 Mother's Day cards ( for mother in law on Sunday) and a necklace today. So feeling in creative mode.
