FINALLY someone actually acknowledged receipt of my resume:
"Thank you for your interest in (company name). We have received your resume and your skills are being carefully reviewed. Should your qualifications match the open position we will contact you."
They'd better see that I'm perfect for it. Truly I am. I can do EVERYthing they listed, and do it well.
Please oh please oh please on the one hand and on the other I'm NOT getting my hopes (too far) up.
Dang, but at least they told me they got it, right? That's more than most of these dang places do, so I'm going to latch onto that one little positive thingie and let it carry me through my day.
Also: thanks very much to everyone who commented my last, very depressive and scary (to me) blog. You guys mean a lot to me, and so does your support, and I'll respond as soon as I've had a little sleep and finished my (SHOOSH, I KNOW!) taxes (I filed the extension, what's'a'mattah'wit'dat?).
