The painting
A poem by Eunice Crankyponts
The panting upon which,
I set my eyes upon today,
Seeing the inherent beauty
That none could ever convey
She painted it so lovely
She painted it so true
She showed my true colors
And enveloped me in blue.
Gift like none other
I've experienced before
Upon which, I cherish
For it's unlocked the door
That door that kept me hidden
Safe from hurtful things
I found the key; Unlocked it
To this I can avow,
The fear and animosity
Has left me
Thank you for showing me
That I am not so angry
Through your eyes,
I can finally see.
