Facing Sunday
Posted On 04/13/2008 09:12:30 by EuniceCrankyponts
I'll gladly walk in to the fire with you
Lifting you up if you fall
Take my hand
I am here
In friendship
In love
Fistfuls of clovers
Tossed in the air
Let them fall where they may
Rose colored glasses
Removed to reveal the reality
Yet, I would still walk in to the fire with you
Friends until the end
Friends until the end.
Passion ruling my ego
Stating with emphasis
That I would have gladly walked in to the fire
With you
If you feared it
I would withstand it for you
Walking in to the fire
Burning up my life
For you to live.

Good morning and Happy Sunday everyone.

Random poem up there ^. As I sit here this Sunday morning, of this melancholic weekend, I think on times that I was so down and out. I remember feeling alone, feeling lost in the vastness of this world. Yet, I live through it. I embraced all of my fears with a vengeance. I held on to them for dear life - keeping them close to my heart so much so that I thought I would suffocate from the pain.

In one fell swoop, I leaped from the edge of sanity in to the greater abyss of the harsh, cold reality of my insecurity. I took no prisoners along the way. I have no known malice in my heart. I rid myself of that long ago....

So, have yourself a lovely Sunday. Appreciate what you have for you never know when it will take leave. Face the day with a vengeance.
