(heh, couldn't resist
)
So it was meant to be "a mellow day" and this morning Lisa took back a kitty and a dog and I checked them in, and then I went to put their kennel cards up.
I enter the kitty room, and I put the kitty's tag up and...ok, if you were standing next to me, on my left, about six inches away, that's where the ladder was.
There was nothing ON the ladder when I entered, I'm practically positive.
HowEVER, after putting up the kennel card, I looked to my left and was met with this:

...well, basically that, lol.
What I saw was way closer and more intent.
And WAY more gorgeous!
His name is Dakota, and he's a moosher of a Bengal cat, and he was very interested in what I was doing.
His sister, Simba (also a Bengal, a little bigger and just as gorgeous) was a little shy with me, but Dakota was following me all over, and rubbing on my legs, and giving me purrs.
Just enchanting, I've never seen such gorgeous cats!
Both really sweet and SO living up to the "inquisitive" aspect of the breed.
I went back to the front desk, leaving the teeny leopards to their "sunroom" time.
Went back a bit later and Simba was on top of the food cart.
There was an empty bag of catnip on the floor, and the lid of the bin of OTHER cats' food was off, and there was a big hole in one of the bags.
Yep. They got totally baked and got the munchies!
Oh and Leo, the black and little-bit-of-white semi-long-hair, super skinny cat came back in today. He's the one, I dont' know if I told you, who plays a MEAN game of peek-a-boo. (When he was in last I was outside, and he was in a window run, and we were totally playing peek-a-boo around the little post thing. He never lost ONCE!
)
Anyway, so I go in to let him have his sunroom time and granted he's a sweet and social cat but I think also he remembered me, cuz he came right up and head butted all over my face, and tucked his head under my chin and just purred and purred :)
Later on, Sassy, one of the cats who lives there, when I opened her run to let her out for the night I stayed a minute to say hi and she came right down and not only headbutted me but climbed right onto my shoulder.
Purring like a motorboat! She just wanted some lovings, so I carried her to the sunroom window and just held her and let her give me kisses and nuzzles.
It was so sweet :)
Tiger and Jack, the pure-white kitties with the stunning green eyes (I'm gonna have to try to get you guys a pic) finally get to leave in two weeks. IF we let them go, lol.
Jack is the one who, when you're cleaning his run, he grooms you. He did me, again, today. It's so sweet and funny.
OOO and we have another flame point Siamese. This one is colored very subtley, but is still gorgeous. His name is "Swiper," lol, and he's actually a really sweet kitter.
OH those Bengals, though. They were just cracking me up. They were EVERYwhere and visited EVERY cat when they were out, lol.
GAWDS but they're amazing looking (and acting).
I'll try ta get ya guys some pics, and in the meantime:
