So Tim called and is on his way home with Mary Jane.

Here's the scoop.

One side of her nasal cavity has collapsed so she will be sans one nostril forevah. D: The cere will not grow back, soooo...she will also kinda be deformed...a little bit....forevah. D:

BUT! The bestestestestestest news is that she will be OKAY!!!!! Ideally...hopefully....most likely.

She has been given anti-biotics and they have ordered an anti-inflammatory for us to pick up tomorrow. It was either that or inject it and we didn't want to put her through anymore pain...the poor thing.

They want to see her in a week to make sure that nothing goes wrong with the collapsed side of her face. HOPEFULLY, it will all smooth out, but they MAY have to perform cosmetic surgery which she will have to be put under for....and many birdies do not wake up from that so that is an absolute last resort.

She was in very high spirits at the vets' office....showing off for everyone... and everyone there thought she was ADORABLE despite, you know, the hole in her face... SO!

PHHHHHHHHHHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW and a half....for now.
