I am watching TV today with Taylor (cartoon channel) and I see these commercials with crazy, freaky, Toys that they are coming up with for kids, like flying things, and talking things, and some thing with “Voice Morph” capabilities, and I think back to my toys…………I WAS EXTATIC WHEN THEY HAD THE BARBIE, THAT COULD BEND HER KNEES, to only 1/2 way sit on some rinky, dink chair that came with “Put it together yourself” capabilities.
But, then again now that I have my son, Seattle, I want him to have the cool toys too, not just the little green do nothing GI Joes that we had growing up but instead maybe, a Magic Carpet, (that really flies!), or his own laptop at 3, stuff like that.
Man these kids are lucky!
