So, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool anti-dentite, pretty much, only because I've have SO much dental work in my life, and while NONE of it has been pleasant (don't think it's supposed to be, actually), well, often it's been barely tolerable.
I've have dentists make me cry, actually, both from physical and mental pain, and over the years I've developed a strong aversion to them, in general.
It's not fair, but there it is.
